Life

Brian Elwin Haner Jr. better known by his stage name with the band Avenged Sevenfold Synyster Gates. Born July 7th, 1981. He is a son of a musician, author and comedian. Synyster later got married in 2010 to Michelle DiBenedetto. He would later have son in 2017 and a daughter in 2019.

Career

Brian started out with the band Pinkly Smooth, with his childhood best friend Jimmy Sullivan better known as The Rev. He then was later asked after Avenged Sevenfold’s first Album to come join the band and he did. That Lead to 8 successful albums with Avenged Sevenfold.

Awards

Synyster a man of many awards such as, the Sexiest Male in 2008. In 2010 Guitar World listed him as one of the 30 greatest shredders of all time. Also in 2010 he was chosen as one of the Guitar Hero’s 50 fastest guitarists. On Guitar World’s Readers Poll Gates was chosen the Snappiest Dresser and the best Metal Guitarists. Rock One magazine’s 2010 Readers Poll Gates was voted No. 3 best musician in the industry.
